Alhamdulillahirabbil’alamin, all praise be to Allah SWT, the Most Gracious and the Most Merciful. By His grace and guidance, the Faculty of Public Health, Halu Oleo University, has successfully organized The 3rd Halu Oleo International Conference on Public Health (HOICPH) on 1 November 2025, under the theme “Digital Transformation, Innovation, Collaboration, and Sustainability for the Future of Public Health.” This international conference was designed as a scholarly platform to facilitate the exchange of knowledge, research findings, and best practices among researchers, academics, practitioners, and policy makers from diverse institutions and countries.

The conference focused on a broad range of public health disciplines, including Biostatistics and Population, Environmental Health, Health Promotion, Nutrition, Occupational Health and Safety, Health Administration and Policy, Epidemiology, Child and Maternal Health, as well as Medical and Health Science. These fields collectively represent the foundational pillars of public health that play a crucial role in responding to contemporary global health challenges, particularly in the era of digital transformation and sustainable development.

Through keynote lectures, oral presentations, and parallel sessions, the conference encouraged critical discussion, interdisciplinary collaboration, and innovative thinking. The scientific papers compiled in this proceeding reflect the collective commitment of the contributors to advancing evidence-based public health knowledge and practice. It is expected that this proceeding will contribute meaningfully to the global discourse on public health innovation, collaboration, and sustainability.

We would like to express our sincere appreciation to all keynote speakers, presenters, reviewers, participants, and members of the organizing and scientific committees for their invaluable contributions and dedication to the success of this conference and the publication of its proceedings.
